Well..for all those who are out there looking for the 11.1.1.7.1 client
I was not able to find the client install for 11.1.1.7.1 or patch to update the client from 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.7.1.
Those who are looking for to upgrade the client this is was you have to do.
Step-1: Go to any OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 Server (analytics link) and navigate to home page and download the required client version as shown below.
Step-2: Copy the installable to your client installed macheine and 'Run' the installable file as Administrator.
Step-3: When prompted with 'Repair' or 'Uninstall' Option ,select repair option and complete the install.
Step-4: Restart the cleint machine [Required to complete installation]
Thats it, Your client will be upgraded to the latest 11.1.1.7.1
