It’s very irritating when this situation comes andyour logs don’t give any valuable inputs.
- Make sure the PATH variable , CLASSPATH, JAVA_HOME is set.
- stop the weblogic server
- navigate to %FMW_HOME%/OBIEE1/oui and openoraparam.ini
- set the TNS_ADMIN variable
- open the opmn.xml from the instance home and edit as below:<start timeout=”1200″ retry=”1″/> (where ever repeating)
- From the command line navigate to the instane1 home /bin and run OPMN.batexecute.opmnctl reloadopmnctl stopallopmnctl startall.opmnctl status.The OPMN services should be ALIVE now.
