Steps to Apply OBIEE 11G Patch (Simplyfied)

Hi All,

Have seen many questions regarding the steps to apply OBIEE patch and changing and setting the environment variable and ending up in error. Below are the three simple steps to apply the OBIEE patch.


Step 1- OPEN Command prompt as administrator and set the following variables

• ORACLE_HOME=D:\MIDDLEWARE\Oracle_BI1;D:\MIDDLEWARE\Oracle_BI1\Opatch;
• CLASSPATH=D:\MIDDLEWARE\Oracle_BI1\jdk;D:\MIDDLEWARE\Oracle_BI1\jdk\jre;

Step 2- Unzip the patch folder and keep in the local dirive like

• C:\OBIEE_PATCH

Setp 3- Navigate to patch folder C:\OBIEE_PATCH and

• opatch apply 18524512 (the patch number)
