How to Create Mobile Apps with Oracle BI Mobile App Designer

Step 1- Starting the Oracle BI Mobile App Designer

Required

• Oracle BI EE 11.1.1.7.x. with patch # 18794832
• The default Sample App Lite repository should be available.

The default URL is 

http://<servername>:<portnumber>/analytics, 

http://<servername>:< portnumber>/mobile 

This takes you to home screen

 If you have logged in directly to BI Mobile Designer, clickNew> Mobile App from the Header.

Under "Choose Target Device Type," select Tablet.

1. Under "Choose a data source for your App," select BI Subject Area.
2. In the Subject Area drop-down list, select Sample Sales Lite

Create a folder and save the app

Save the app as OBE_Demo_1 in My Folders>Tutorial folder, and then click Save.
