First 14nm Mobile Processor

Samsung Exynos 7 Octa

The Exynos 7 Octa uses four ARM Cortex-A57 and four A53 Cores in the big.LITTLE configuration, along with ARM's Mali T-760 GPU. A 20nm version of this chip came out a few months ago, and the new version appears to have the same basic configuration, just moved to the new 14nm FinFET process.
Samsung said it has been working on FinFET technology since the early 2000s, pointing to a research paper it presented at the International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) in 2003.
